Morinomiya College of Medical Arts & Sciences visits FCIM!

For the past week, FCIM has had the pleasure of hosting Acupuncture instructors and students from Morinomiya College of Medical Arts & Sciences from Osaka, Japan.  This marks their 4th annual internship visit. Morinomiya College sends their instructors and students to FCIM to learn about Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine education and practices in the United States.

During their visit, the students observed clinical treatments at the FCIM clinic from our own senior graduate students as well as Grand Rounds from our Clinic Director, Jacqueline Cheng.  They also listened to lectures on Introduction to Chinese Herbology, Auricular Therapy: NADA and Battlefield Acupuncture, as well as our President Larry Han's specialty courses: Tension Point Therapy and Neuro-Acupuncture.

The students and instructors also had the unique opportunity of observing President Han's specialty treatments at his own private practice located in Orange Park, Florida.

The annual internship event is lead by Motonori Fusamae, of Morinomiya College and FCIM's international liaison and coordinator.  Mr. Fusamae is an instructor at Morinomiya College, he frequently presents seminars as well as Lunch & Learn series for our students on Japanese Acupuncture and Moxibustion.
